Join us on the north side of Kansas City for the Liberty Hospital Half Marathon! It’s the perfect way to stretch out your legs and test your fitness level as you kick off your Spring racing season. All Half Marathon participants will enjoy a scenic race course and load up with the following swag: stunning finisher medal, free race photos, commemorative race shirt, post-race refreshments, chip timing, and discounts/giveaways from our sponsors!

LOCATION/PARKING: The race starts at Liberty Community Center (1600 S Withers Rd, Liberty, MO 64068).

SMART PACING: 1:35, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 1:55, 2:00, 2:05, 2:15, 2:25, 2:35, 2:45
AID STATIONS: Will be located approximately every 1-2 miles along the route. There will be water at each location. Gatorade will be available at miles 2.5, 4.5, 7, & 10.5. GU will be available at mile 7.
Pint Size Patriot Kids Dash – Free! Participants will receive their own medals! A free kids and family activity area will be on site featuring games, music and more.

Want to train with other supportive, fun, motivating runners? Come join our official training group runs for the Liberty Hospital Half Marathon/Norterre 5K: The Sunday Runday North Group run. They meet every Sunday at 7:00 a.m. and run any distance to 16 miles, depending on the distance you choose to run. You start the run as a group and the route is supported with water/Gatorade stations every 2 miles. The route is well marked with orange marking flags. The route changes every week to keep things fresh and interesting. The group meets at The Running Well Store, 6106 NW Barry Rd, Kansas City, MO 64124.
No refunds will be given for the event. However, we will allow you to:
1. drop to a shorter distance at no charge; or
2. transfer your registration to someone else by Feb. 25 only.

We will run in rain, cold, or snow. However, if the race is canceled in the event of unsafe weather or other unforeseen conditions, no refunds will be given.
TIME LIMIT: Participants are expected to maintain a pace of 14 minutes per mile. During that time the course is closed to traffic and the aid stations are available. If you cannot maintain this pace, you may be asked to move to the sidewalk for the last portion of the race.
AWARDS: All participants will receive a finisher medal! Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as to the top three finishers in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+.
TIMING, RESULTS, & RUNNER TRACKING: The race will be timed using bib timing chip technology. The timing chip is attached to the bib number and does not need to be returned. Participants can opt-in to receive live tracking and updates via Facebook, Twitter, or Text Message when they sign up for the race. You can also sign up for live tracking by click THIS LINK.
